"The Healing Place" is an inter-denominational, spirit-filled group of believers with a passion for worship and biblical truth.   We are strongly connected and in covenant with Destiny Ministries, a network of churches, pastors, and ministers of the highest level of integrity and leadership.  Destiny Ministries supports vast groups of ministry leaders throughout the United States as well as worldwide through leadership coaching at training at http://destinyvisioncenter.com .

What drives us
We are driven by our great love for God and one another, and our passionate desire to reach our world for Christ through real relationships.   We purposefully strive for excellence in our pursuit of a tangible, deeper, more personal walk with Christ.

People
The Healing Place is a diverse group of believers from a myriad of backgrounds and age groups.   Many of our members have no real church background and are truly babes in Christ.   We choose to worship God in a completely non-traditional environment with wholehearted exuberance to a contemporary beat.   There are no dress requirements in our "come as you are" setting where we hope both believers and seekers feel as if they have come home.   Our fellowship is full of young, thriving families who are actively involved in their schools and communities through sporting events, music, and other diverse activities.   Our growing group of singles from both career age and beyond are a beautiful blend within our family of God.  

Our Beginning
The Healing Place was planted within our Pastor's heart one Saturday morning with these simple words from the Lord, "You will call it The Healing Place."   Although still pastoring the same church of nearly twenty-eight years, the Lord was birthing a new work and course for both Pastors Don and Wanda Moore.  On March 21, 2004, after his final morning service, preperations were being made for The Healing Place's inaugural service.   That evening at 7:00 pm in the meeting room of his son Joey Moore's sales offfice in Fort Smith, Arkansas our fellowship was born.   A few months later our meeting place was changed to our current location at Phoenix Village Mall in Fort Smith where we continue to grow weekly.
