The Happy Place” is an exciting Bible-based ministry for children age five and older.  The passion of the teachers is to create memorable learning experiences that will allow the children to apply the Bible to their own lives.  The heart of each lesson is active learning.  Each lesson has activities and games that are centered around a goal chosen for the lesson.  Class is fun and exciting as the kids discover important principals of the Bible that can be applied to their everyday lives through discovery learning.  The class doesn't merely sit and listen to the thoughts and ideas of a teacher-they become a part of the learning process as they find things out for themselves.  There is a wide range of ages at The Happy Place.  The older children become a mentor to the younger children and this gives them the opportunity to teach what they have learned to others, the younger children get the special attention they need, and the teacher has the opportunity to facilitate the learning within the small groups.  The result is a fun filled learning experience for all.
